Who we are

Kizenya (季然屋) is an Asian-owned, premium matcha brand based in Belgium, bringing the essence of Japanese tea culture to life. Our matcha is high-quality ceremonial grade, grown in the lush fields of Kagoshima, Japan, where it’s cultivated without pesticides to preserve its pure, natural flavor. What is matcha?

Matcha (抹茶) is a type of powdered green tea made from specially grown and processed Camellia sinensis leaves. Unlike regular green tea, where you steep the leaves and discard them, matcha involves consuming the whole leaf in powdered form, which provides more nutrients and a stronger flavor.
